“The Menstrual Cycle affects women, and it is clear it affects female athletes. To what extent and how is less clear. My original PhD research explores the impacts that the menstrual cycle phases have on physical and perceived performance in Women. This research aims to provide additional context, knowledge and resources to empower female athletes and those that work with them. How do we need to support the needs of the female athlete through their menstrual cycles. This presentation will share the preliminary results of what has been found so far.”
After Bobbie’s talk there will be music, a raffle, Titans merchandise on sale, and more! There will also be a chance to mingle and learn more about the Manchester Titans Women’s American Football team and the Aldwinians Ladies rugby team. Just come and find us at one of our stalls!
