WFFL: Titans Women Ready To Bring The Heat At Home Tournament

Penultimate Tournament For Titans Women To Clinch Playoff Spots

Manchester Titans Women’s Flag teams are gearing up for an exciting home tournament on Sunday 8 February and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Heading into the second-to-last tournament of the season the First Team and the Bees both sit in playoff positions, setting the scene for a dramatic showcase of Titans flag football.

The First Team have proven they can bring the heat to every opponent season after season. After reaching the finals last year, the aim is clear: do it again.

The Bees Team have already played more games than any other team in the league, making this tournament especially important. With so much of the season already under their belts, coming away with as many wins as possible is key to holding onto that playoff spot.

Head of Women’s Flag and Bees player Ruth Mansell says, “This is only the Bees’ second season in the WFFL, and their progress has been incredible to watch — improving week by week and growing in confidence with every game. We’re excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for this developing squad.”

You can catch all the action at Belle Vue, with non-stop games from 10.30 until 16.30. Expect big plays, high energy, and Titans Football at its finest. If you can’t make it down to Belle Vue, catch the livestream on our YouTube channel
