Titan Selected for GB in IFAF World Championship

The Manchester Titans are proud to recognise Luke Sweeney who has been selected as part of the GB men’s squad competing at the IFAF Flag World Championships be held in Dusseldorf, Germany. Luke played for the Titans Flag team in the National Division this year and racked up 11 receiving TD and 6 receiving XPs.

The GB squads will be competing not only for the World Championship, but for a chance to qualify for the Olympics in LA 2028. The four-day tournament will start on Thursday 13th August and conclude on Sunday 16th August. In the group stages GB Men will face Italy, France, and Panama. Their first game is on Thursday 13 August at 11:45 against Italy. See the full schedule here.
