Manchester Titans x Baltimore Ravens Youth Flag Football Taster Day

We’re very excited to announce that the Titans are teaming up with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday 4 October to deliver a very special youth flag football taster day at Belle Vue Stadium to kick off the new Titans youth flag programme starting this Autumn. 

The event will run from 10am until 1pm and will include lots of flag drills from catching balls to pulling flags, culminating in a casual (or competitive!) game at the end. This will be a great opportunity for kids to try out all things flag football. 

Both the flag taster day and the regular training sessions are open to boys and girls under 18. Please ensure all participants have a water bottle and suitable footwear for a 3G pitch. Regular football boots and trainers are fine, but metal rugby studs are not allowed on the pitch. 

Parking on site is free in the car parks via gates A and D. Changing and bathroom facilities are available inside the leisure centre next to the stadium. 

Following the Ravens x Titans flag event, the first Titans Youth Flag training session will be on Tuesday 6 October at Belle Vue Stadium on the main pitch at 8-10pm, and sessions will then be every Tuesday onwards. 

The lead coaches - Michael McGougan, Head Coach of Great Britain U17M, and Jonathan Homer, Head Coach of Italy Women and Defensive Coordinator for Italy U17M - will both bring their wealth of flag coaching experience to the programme.
