The Manchester Titans opened their season on Sunday 21st April with a double-header featuring the Junior Team against Lanarkshire Longhorns and the Senior Team against the Lincolnshire Bombers.
The Juniors struggled against the strong Scottish side and despite a spirited showing from the team composed from mainly rookie players, they lost 37-0.
The Seniors faired much better, jumping out to a 33-0 half-time lead behind 3 TD Passes by QB Alan Mead, before completing a solid 54-0 victory thanks to a unforgiving defensive performance.

The Titans next home game is Sunday 28th April with the Junior Team playing their local rivals, the Lancashire Wolverine Colts at 12noon. Following them is a crucial fixture between the Manchester Senior Team and the Leicester Falcons.
