The Manchester Titans hosted the Leicester Falcons at Salford City Stadium for their 2nd game of the season. Much as it had been the week before the rain was falling hard and a strong wind was blowing down the pitch making passing difficult.

Manchester Titans start the 2013 season on Sunday 21st April with a double-header at home at Salford City Stadium.

The Titans finished their season with an emphatic 45-0 win over the DC Presidents, thanks largely to a defense that shut down the DC offense and a near perfect game from QB Alan Mead, who completed 16 of 17 passes for 236 yards and 5 TDs.

With Crewe’s home ground water-logged, the Staffordshire Surge very kindly offered to host the Crewe-Lincoln match before their own fixture against the Titans. The double-header meant that for the second time in two weeks the Titans and Surge fixture would be played with a rolling clock

The Manchester-Staffordshire game looked in doubt on Friday as the weather conditions that have ravaged the British American Football season set in once again. However a truly Titan effort by the home team made sure a new venue was found
