Titans win the North

In what proved to be a thrilling 2022 regular season, your Manchester Titans have managed to prove themselves as top dogs in the BAFA Adult Contact Premiership North following a convincing final game win against the Sandwell Steelers. After a season full of issues in their camp, the Steelers made the long trip up to Belle Vue with 17 valiant players knowing what the day would bring.  We at the Titans thank all of them for making the journey and commend their footballing spirit, allowing both teams to finish their season and for the Titans to enjoy our celebrations. Best of luck for next season!

With a convincing slate of wins, the Titans found themselves with a 9-1 record, with the single loss coming from a nail-biting matchup down in Coleshill playing against the perennial Premiership North winners, Tamworth Phoenix, who the Titans had beaten comfortably at home in their second game of the season.
Boasting an incredible 510 points scored and a stifling 81 points conceded over 10 games, the Titans are currently sat in the lead in the whole of British American Football on points scored per game (51), 2nd in points differential per game (42.9) where they’re losing out on the top spot to Bristol Apache (45.3) who play in the SFC West 2, and 11th on points conceded per game (8.1).

The Titans will now hold their first ever Premiership Semi-final playoff game at home against the Bristol Aztecs on the 21st of August at Belle Vue, having played second fiddle the past couple of competitive seasons and travelled down to London for previous short-lived playoff stints.
