Titans victorious in landmark game.

The Manchester Titans playing in front of over a 1000 fans at AJ Bell Stadium completed an emphatic 69-0 victory over the Crewe Railroaders.

In glorious sunshine, the Titans, sponsored by Manchester Printers, made the bold move to play their game inside the AJ Bell Stadium and it paid off with an official attendance of 1349 within the stadium, and a complete performance by the team on the field.

Manchester started strongly with rushing Touchdowns from Nick Copley and Scott McGee before Ryan Newton added a 26 yard Field Goal at the start of the 2nd quarter. QB Alan Mead then hit James Newnes and Chris Heap (twice) with Touchdown passes to extend the lead at half-time to 35-0.

After a display by the Titans Junior & Youth Teams, Manchester continued to add to the scoring with TDs by Ste Kimmins, Carl Rugen and Joe Clarke in the 3rd Quarter.

Meanwhile the Titans defense never let up, with Ainsley Battel starring with 2 Interceptions. Back-up QB Nick-Nige Weston added a rushing TD in the 4th Quarter before rookie RB Tim Roach added the final score.

The Titans next game is away to Crewe on Sunday 8th June and the next home game is Sunday 22d June against local rivals Merseyside Nighthawks.
