At the end of the 2014 season, the Manchester Titans were looking at purchasing new game shirts for the upcoming 2015 season. The committee were looking at producing a marketable brand to encompass the whole club with all 6 teams included in their #OneClub ethos.

Adult Contact Team Manager James Dean explains “We replace the game shirts every 3 seasons with the previous design become the “alternative” kit as required.”

The Titans considered just about every Game Shirt Manufacturer in the UK and several overseas.

In the end they decided to go with RSD Worldwide, based in Wigan, Lancashire. //www.rsdworldwide.com/ RSD Worldwide produce hundreds of jerseys for BMX riders, Ice Hockey Teams and American Football Teams.
RSD Worldwide Director Karl Dillon used to play American Football in the 1980s and 90s with the Stockport Falcons which got him into producing American Football jerseys. He worked closely with the Titans to come up with the perfect jersey design

Dean showed the designers at RSD several different styles of jersey as they integrated the best features to produce the best jersey they could.

Several different prototypes of the shirt were made and used during training to see if they would be effective. The process took quite some time but by the time Super Bowl 49 rolled around the shirts were ready for their grand unveiling at the Titans Super Bowl Party in the Bierkeller in front of over 450 NFL fans.

The shirts are lightweight and tight fitting to prevent easy tackling. The design is unique and bespoke  using sublimation printing.

One season in, they’ve proved to be durable as well as looking good and now supply shirts for all 6 of the Titans Teams (Adult Contact, Adult Flag, Ladies Contact, Ladies Flag, U19s and U17s).

Titans GM Jonathan Homer said “We’re really happy with the working relationship we’ve built up with RSD Worldwide.
