Titans help Vernon Kay roll back the years

Famous TV celebrity Vernon Kay is known for Family Fortunes and being married to Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly but not many people realise that in his youth, Vernon played American Football. With the assistance of RDF Television, the company responsible for such programmes as Scrapheap Challlenge, Secret Millionaire and Emergency Bikers, as part of an upcoming television programme, Vernon has brought his old teammates back together for one last game. In order to ensure that they have enough players to play a full game, a small number of Titans players will be filling in some positions as backup players. The Allstars team will be playing against the current back to back University champion Birmingham Lions who are undefeated in three regular season so the size of the task ahead is immense. Undaunted, the Allstars have been training solidly since November and are under the supervision of Head Coach Tony Allen with the assistance of:

Aden Durde – NFL Europe, Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs
Marvin Allen – NFL Europe, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers
Jermaine Allen – NFL Europe, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints
Gerry Anderson – NFL Europe, London Monarchs
Danny Watts – NFL Europe, Cincinnati Bengal’s, Cleveland Browns

The game will be played on Sunday 23rd January, Kick Off 4pm at Bournbrook Pitch, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2TT. Entry is free.
