The 2013 Manchester Titan Rookie Camps are scheduled for Sunday 10th November and Sunday 17th November.
These days will be an opportunity for new players to come and try out the sport, see what different positions are like, do some of the training that Titans players take part in and find out a little more about the club.
For our Youth (14-16 years) and Junior Players (16-18), the sessions (we don’t call them trials, anyone can join the club) will take place from 10am to 12noon, with registration at 9:30am.
For the Adult Players – both Flag and Contact – the sessions are from 12noon to 2pm, with registration at 11:30am.
There’s no obligation to join the team, just a “taster” day to try out American Football.
Each session will cost ÂŁ5 and you can take part in one or both (each session will be slightly different but will still cover the basics).
There will be coaches set up around the pitch where you can try out the skills for different positions (throwing, catching, etc.).
The registration will take place in the Fan Bar at Salford City Stadium and the session on the 3G Artificial Turf pitch.
We recommend you wear suitable footwear for the surface (blades are not recommended but moulded or screw-in studs are fine) and dress suitably for the athletic activity in Manchester weather.
A Mouthguard/Gumshield is advisable but not compulsory.
